Venture Lab
Creating a venture
Creating a venture takes a few minutes. A short wizard captures just enough to open a working venture workspace — you refine everything else inside the sections afterwards.
Starting a venture
From the Venture Lab list, choose to create a venture. You can start from a raw idea, an observed market gap, a customer need, or a strategic trigger — you do not need a fully formed concept.
The three steps
- Venture Basics — name the venture, describe the idea in a sentence or two, and set its type and target market.
- Context & Intent — add the trigger or context behind it, who it is for, current stage, and your intent for exploring it.
- Review & Create — confirm the details and open the venture workspace.
Stage and status
Each venture has a stage (for example idea, exploring, shaping) and a status (such as active, paused, or archived). Early-stage ventures are nudged toward the Opportunity section as the recommended next step. You can update stage and status at any time from the venture header.
How to use this in Cogliva
