You map the business through a comprehensive, Business Model Canvas–aligned intake — business models and offerings, customers and channels, operating model, revenue and costs, geography, boundaries, and competitive landscape — and set the outcomes you want. Cogliva analyses each outcome separately and produces an outcome-by-outcome report: a single central challenge, the focus areas it breaks down into, how those outcomes connect, and a per-focus-area analysis with a clear path to action — alongside the challenge diagnosis, root causes, prioritization, recommended method, KPIs and OKRs, and a 90-day plan. The structured report is included from the $97 Starter Strategy Workspace; paid plans add inline editing so you can refine the report before you export or present it.

What's included in each plan?

Every plan runs the same comprehensive, Business Model Canvas–aligned diagnostic — mapping business models, customers, operating model, revenue and costs, boundaries, and competitive landscape — and draws on the same curated body of strategy knowledge behind Cogliva: the challenge library, the strategy methods, and the business-context intelligence. The standard monthly plan (Consultant for advisors, SME for in-house teams) adds the Organizations and Projects workspaces, PDF and Word exports, and Strategic Signals at general scope. The top plan (Professional Advisor for advisors, Enterprise for in-house teams) adds the full workflow: the Business Strategy Designer, Tactical Plans, the Strategy Workbench, the Venture Lab module for building and validating new ventures, organization-scoped Strategic Signals, and PowerPoint, email, workshop agenda, and discussion guide exports.

Can I upgrade later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Start with the plan that fits your work today and move up whenever you need more diagnostics or more polished client outputs. Upgrades on an active subscription apply in place with prorated billing, and your knowledge-grounded diagnostics and reports stay consistent across plans.

Question 4

Do unused diagnostics roll over?

Accepted Answer

No. Each plan includes a set number of diagnostics per month, and the allowance is consumed when a diagnostic is created. Unused diagnostics do not roll over to the next month, and deleting a diagnostic does not return it to your monthly allowance. Refining a finished report's text is always free, but reopening the wizard to change the inputs and regenerate a diagnostic uses one from your allowance — Cogliva warns you and lets you cancel before it does. If you regularly need more, upgrading to a higher tier raises your monthly diagnostic count.

Question 5

Can I change a diagnostic after it's generated?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in two ways. You can refine the finished report inline — editing the executive summary and challenge diagnosis text where they appear — which is always free on paid plans. Or, when the inputs themselves were off, you can reopen the diagnostic in the wizard, change any answer, and generate a completely new report; because that runs the full diagnostic again, it uses one diagnostic from your monthly allowance, and Cogliva confirms before it charges. Reopening the wizard is available on the monthly and yearly plans; one-time Starter workspaces can refine the report text but not re-run the wizard.

Can I add other users to my account?

The Enterprise Strategy Workbench supports up to 3 users on one account. The account owner requests additional users from the account page; each must share the owner's email domain and is activated after admin approval. Other plans are single-user — if you need more seats, get in touch and we'll tailor an arrangement.

Question 7

Can I manage or cancel my subscription myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Subscription management is fully self-service. From your account workspace you can open the secure billing portal to update payment details, download invoices, change plans, or cancel at any time. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then.

Can I try Cogliva before paying?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The free experience walks you through a complete diagnostic on a fictional company so you can see the quality of the final report — and how grounded each recommendation is in real strategy knowledge — before choosing a plan.

Accepted Answer

Both. Advisors and consultants use it to run sharper client engagements, while founders and internal strategy teams use it for recurring in-house diagnostics. The same structured strategy knowledge powers both, with display wording tailored to each context.

Strategic Signals is the intelligence layer that keeps your strategy alive after the plan. It generates a signal profile from your business context — monitoring topics, keyword groups, and ready-to-use queries — and surfaces matching developments as scored alerts with optional email digests. It is available on all monthly plans at general scope, and at full organization scope on the Professional Advisor & Enterprise plans, where profiles draw on a specific organization's priorities, challenge, and diagnostic findings.

What is the Management Copilot and which plans include it?

The Management Copilot turns a plainly described business challenge into structured guidance — the likely drivers, the frameworks that apply, indicators worth watching, and practical next steps — in minutes, without running a full diagnostic. It is grounded in the same challenge and tool libraries as the rest of Cogliva and is included on all monthly plans (Consultant, SME, Professional Advisor, and Enterprise).

What is Liva and is it included?

Liva is Cogliva's built-in AI assistant, surfaced through the Ask Liva button next to fields and sections across the platform. It can draft a field from your context, improve or clarify it, make it more strategic and executive-ready, offer options, or challenge your thinking — grounded in the Cogliva Intelligence layer, with you always reviewing before applying. Liva is built into Cogliva rather than sold separately; the more of the workflow your plan unlocks (strategy design, tactical plans, the Workbench), the more places Liva can help.

What is the Strategy Workbench and who can use it?

The Strategy Workbench is a living strategy knowledge layer for each organization, where you capture and structure strategic topics — opportunities, risks, assumptions, and questions — set their materiality, priority, and review cadence, connect them to diagnostics, strategies, plans, and signals, and promote the validated ones into a full strategy and tactical plan. You can import an organization's Strategic Signals as topics and get signal-aware AI suggestions. It is included on the Professional Advisor and Enterprise plans.

What is Venture Lab and who can use it?

Venture Lab is Cogliva's module for building and validating new ventures — taking a raw opportunity through opportunity exploration and customer-problem discovery, assumption mapping and experiments, feasibility and business-model design, and finally a strategy brief and launch path, before transitioning the validated venture into diagnostics, strategy, tactical plans, and systems. It's built for founders, corporate venture teams, and the advisors and investors backing them, and is included on the Professional Advisor and Enterprise plans.

What is the Systems add-on and who can get it?

Systems is an optional add-on that unlocks the Business Management Systems module, starting with Quality System Alignment — an ISO 9001-grounded review of whether your management system actually supports your business. It's $199/month on the Enterprise plan and $799/month on the Consultant/Advisor plan, with your organization quota following your base plan. It's available to Professional Advisor and Enterprise subscribers, layers on top of your existing plan, and one subscription unlocks the entire module with no per-feature pricing.

How do you keep my account secure?

Accepted Answer

Every account is protected by two-factor authentication. After your password (or Google/Apple sign-in), you confirm a 6-digit code from an authenticator app, and you keep one-time recovery codes as backup — so a password alone is never enough to reach your strategy workspace.
