The Liva Assistant (your workspace companion)

Alongside the in-context Ask Liva helper, Cogliva has a floating Liva Assistant you can open from anywhere in the app. It is a conversational companion for finding your way around: ask how a feature works, where to do something, or to locate one of your own records, and Liva answers in plain language with links you can click to go straight there.

How to open it

Look for the round violet Liva mark floating in the corner of the app. Click it to open the assistant panel, type your question, and Liva replies in a short chat thread. When you first reach your Dashboard after signing in, the assistant opens once on its own to say hello; after that it stays out of the way until you click it again.

What it can do

  • Answer how-to and “where do I…” questions using the same help content you are reading now.
  • Point you to the right place in Cogliva, with clickable links to the exact page or feature.
  • Find your own workspace records — organisations, diagnostics, strategies, tactical plans, signals, and more — and link straight to them.
  • Explain features and concepts, grounded in Cogliva's help and your own context.

What it does not do

The Liva Assistant is read-only: it helps you find and understand things, but it does not create, edit, or delete your work. To draft or change the content of a field, use the in-context Ask Liva helper on that field. To think a whole business challenge through from scratch, use the Management Copilot. Every record Liva surfaces is scoped to what your account is allowed to see.

Privacy and control

A conversation with the Liva Assistant lasts for your current session and is not kept afterwards. It only ever surfaces records you already have access to, and the same principle of human review applies: treat its answers as helpful guidance, and check anything important against the source.

How to use this in Cogliva

  1. Click the floating violet Liva mark to open the assistant.
  2. Ask a how-to question, or ask where to find one of your records.
  3. Click the links in Liva's reply to jump straight to the page or record.
