Organisation Intelligence Map
Working with Strategy Assets
The Strategy Assets tab turns what Cogliva knows about an organisation into the strategy tools you already recognise. Each asset opens in a tool-specific layout, shows where its content came from, and lets you fill any gaps directly.
The assets you get
- SWOT Analysis — strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in a classic 2×2.
- PESTLE Analysis — political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental context.
- Business Model Canvas — the nine building blocks of how the organisation operates.
- Value Proposition Canvas — the fit between customer jobs, pains, gains, and your offerings.
- Strategic Priorities Map, Stakeholder Map, Capability Map, and a Risk & Opportunity Register.
Open anything, even when partly filled
Every asset is clickable, whether it is fully populated, partially populated, or not started. A status badge tells you which. Inside, each box shows either its current content or a short note on where the information can come from — your organisation profile, a diagnostic, or your own direct input.
Edit in place and save back
You can edit any box directly. Boxes sourced from your organisation profile or a diagnostic carry a “Based on…” chip so you can see the origin. When you save, the change is written to the organisation's canonical record — so the same value feeds the Intelligence Map, Business Model, and Overview, not just this asset.
A confirmation before it ripples out
Because a single edit can affect several parts of the workspace, saving opens a short confirmation that explains the downstream impact in plain terms and lets you choose how to apply it. See how strategy changes flow through Cogliva for what each option does.
Full-screen and neat matrices
Any asset opens full-screen for a focused session, and tiles in the same row share a height so a SWOT or canvas reads as a clean matrix. No button silently triggers a new diagnostic or signal profile — actions that need your consideration always ask first.
Strategy completeness on each asset
Each asset carries a strategy completeness indicator alongside its populate status. Completeness is multi-dimensional — it reflects how much of the underlying context the asset draws on is actually present, across dimensions such as organisation profile, business model, and diagnostic findings. It is a coverage gauge, not a grade of strategy quality: a fully complete asset with rich inputs is not necessarily a good strategy, and a lean asset can still be sharp. Hover the indicator to see the per-dimension breakdown and spot exactly where adding more context would improve the picture. See understanding strategy completeness for a full explanation.
How to use this in Cogliva
- Open the Strategy Assets tab in an organisation.
- Click any asset — including partially filled ones — to open its tool-specific layout.
- Fill empty boxes directly, or follow the note to where the information should come from.
- Save, then choose how the change should propagate.
- Hover the strategy completeness indicator to see which dimensions have thin coverage.
