Update guidance and Ask about a report in the Management Copilot
A Copilot report is a starting point for a conversation, not the end of one. Two controls at the top of the report make that conversation practical — you can either revise the underlying guidance and regenerate, or keep the report as it is and chat about it.
Update guidance
Update guidance reopens the Copilot flow with your original inputs — Challenge, Context, Setup, and Guidance — so you can adjust anything that was thin or wrong and regenerate the report. This replaces the older “Refine guidance” action and is the right choice when the report is close but you want it grounded differently.
Ask about this report
Ask about this report opens a chat that already knows the full report context. Use it for follow-up questions, alternative framings, quick summaries for a specific audience, or asking Cogliva to draft a message or a slide from what the report contains. It is a thread, not a one-shot dialog, so you can iterate without losing what came before.
Handover to and from Liva
If Liva recommends taking a topic into the Management Copilot, the Copilot arrival screen is pre-filled with a summary of what you and Liva already discussed — so you continue rather than restart. The reverse is also true from the report: Ask about this report inherits the report as its starting context.

- Use Update guidance when the framing is wrong.
- Use Ask about this report when the framing is right and you want to explore or repurpose it.
- Treat the Liva → Copilot handover as continuity, not duplication — the summary is a starting text you can edit before you send it.
