Monthly Strategic Briefings Library
The Strategic Briefings Library gives leadership teams a steady rhythm of short, opinionated reads on the strategic landscape. It sits inside the app at Library and is reference material — the point is to help you think, not to change your strategy behind your back.
What a briefing is
Each briefing is a monthly piece by Dr. Maralani focused on one strategic theme — a shift, a tension, or a pattern worth understanding. Briefings are written to be read in one sitting and are aimed at operators making real decisions, not at analysts.
Apply to my organization
Every briefing has an 'Apply to my organization' flow. It uses the briefing and your current organisation context to produce draft hypotheses — what this theme could mean for you, where it might matter most, and questions worth putting on the table.
The result is session-only discussion material. It never rewrites your SWOT, objectives, strategies, or tactical plans. If a hypothesis is worth pursuing, capture it as a topic in the Strategy Workbench and take it from there.
How to use it as a team
- Circulate a briefing before a leadership meeting so everyone arrives with the same frame.
- Run 'Apply to my organization' together and use the hypotheses as prompts, not answers.
- Move anything you want to act on into the Workbench, then into a strategy or tactical plan.
How to use this in Cogliva
- Open Library from the main navigation and pick the latest briefing.
- Read it end-to-end, then run 'Apply to my organization' to generate discussion hypotheses.
- Capture anything worth pursuing as a Workbench topic and link the briefing as evidence.
