Strategy Workbench

What is the Strategy Workbench?

The Strategy Workbench is where strategic thinking is organized before it becomes a strategy. It is a living knowledge layer for each organization — a place to capture opportunities, risks, assumptions, and questions, weigh how material they are, and review them over time instead of losing them in notes and documents.

The gap it fills

A diagnostic frames a problem, and the Strategy Designer turns choices into a plan — but real strategy work also accumulates loose threads: an emerging risk, a half-formed opportunity, an assumption that needs testing, a signal worth watching. The Workbench gives those threads a home so they are assessed deliberately rather than acted on impulsively or forgotten.

What you can do in it

  • Capture strategic topics per organization — opportunities, risks, assumptions, challenges, and strategic questions.
  • Set materiality, priority, confidence, time horizon, and a review cadence for each topic.
  • Bring in evidence by importing signals and linking topics to diagnostics, strategies, and plans.
  • Promote validated or material topics into a formal strategy and tactical plan.

Who it is for and how to access it

The Workbench suits consultants and leadership teams who manage strategy as an ongoing process across one or more organizations. It is part of the Professional Advisor and Enterprise plans — see plans and pricing for what each tier includes.

How to use this in Cogliva

  1. Open Workbench and choose the organization you are working on.
  2. Add a few topics you are already thinking about, or use AI suggestions for a first draft.
  3. Review topics over time and promote the strongest into a strategy.
