Strategy Workbench
Clearing all topics for an organisation in the Workbench
Cleaning up the Workbench between engagements or after a workshop used to require deleting topics one by one. Delete all makes that a single, deliberate action — with enough friction that it cannot happen by accident.
Where it is
In the Workbench Topics tab, Delete all sits to the right of the New topic button. It becomes active only when you have selected a specific organisation in the picker — if the picker is on All organisations, the button is disabled to prevent a cross-organisation wipe.
The hard confirmation
Delete all opens a confirmation that requires you to type “DELETE ALL” before it will proceed. This is intentional — the action removes every topic and its linked evidence for that organisation, and cannot be undone from the interface.
When to use it
- After a workshop, when the captured topics have been consolidated into strategies or tactical plans and the raw list is no longer useful.
- At the start of a new engagement, to clear inherited topics that no longer reflect the current situation.
- When rebuilding a Workbench from a fresh diagnostic and you want a clean slate.
How to use this in Cogliva
- Select a specific organisation in the picker before you look for the button.
- Type DELETE ALL exactly when prompted — anything else keeps the topics in place.
- Export or convert any topics you want to keep before you clear them.
