Using the Diagnostic

Automatic analysis, the sticky Jump-to bar, and report actions

Producing and using a diagnostic used to require several manual steps. Cogliva now runs the analysis for you, shows a visible progress bar while it works, and gives you a compact set of controls at the top of the report for moving through it, exporting it, and turning it into advisory assets.

Analysis runs automatically

When the wizard closes, Cogliva starts the analysis immediately and shows a persistent progress card at the top of the diagnostic page. The screen is locked to scrolling and reading while it runs — no button can be pressed — so the analysis completes cleanly. As soon as progress reaches 100 %, the lock is released and the report becomes fully interactive.

The sticky Jump-to bar

Diagnostic reports have a Jump-to bar that stays at the top of the screen as you scroll. It becomes visually darker when it sticks, and lets you move directly between the executive summary, the organisation-level synthesis, root causes, prioritisation, each focus area, and the action plan. Strategy reports do not use the bar, because they are already structured for linear reading.

Export and Advisory assets in one place

The report header has a single Export dropdown that covers PDF, PowerPoint, and “Send as email”, so nothing lives loose in the toolbar. A separate Advisory assets button opens a dialog for generating the client-facing collateral — workshop agendas, discussion guides, and executive briefings — that used to be spread across several menus.

Draft-mode banner

If you open a report while another edit of the same diagnostic is in a draft (being modified) state, a yellow banner at the top tells you the report you are reading is based on the last completed diagnostic, so nobody mistakes an unfinished revision for the current version.

How to use this in Cogliva

  1. Let the analysis run to completion — the progress card is intentional, not a spinner.
  2. Use the Jump-to bar to navigate long reports rather than scrolling.
  3. Open Advisory assets once you are happy with the report to produce workshop and client-ready collateral.
