Keeping a strategy current: updates and revisions
Strategy work does not end when the first document is generated. As conditions change and you learn more, Cogliva lets you update an existing strategy into a new revision — keeping it current without losing the thinking that came before.
Strategies are living documents
Rather than regenerating from scratch every time something changes, you can apply targeted updates to a strategy you have already built. This keeps the strategy stable and recognizable while letting it evolve with new evidence and decisions.
Two ways to update
- From the strategy itself — open a strategy and choose Update strategy.
- From the Strategy Workbench — push concluded tasks to Apply to Strategy and run the update from there.
AI-assisted, but you stay in control
Cogliva reads the inputs you provide — concluded tasks and any note — and proposes adjustments section by section. You accept, edit, or add your own, and nothing changes until you apply. The result is a deliberate update, not an automatic rewrite.
Version history
Each update is saved as a new version with a short change summary, and the strategy's revision history lets you see and review earlier versions. This makes it easy to explain to a client or leadership team how and why the strategy moved over time.
