Using the Diagnostic
Adding context from other sources (documents and links)
Beyond the company website, most organisations describe themselves in other places — an annual report, an investor deck, a product sheet, a market study, or a public profile. The “Add context from other sources” panel in the diagnostic intake lets you point Cogliva at those, so it can propose context for you to review.
What you can add
- Additional web links — a few public profile or social pages, plus other relevant pages such as an about, investor, or product page.
- Documents — up to four text-based files (PDF, TXT, MD, or CSV), each up to 5 MB.
- Typical documents include annual reports and results, investor presentations, product sheets, market research, and strategy memos.
Use high-quality digital files
Text-based digital documents read far better than scans or photographs of printed pages. If a file is a low-quality scan, expect thin or missing results — export or re-save a digital version where you can.
What happens when you run it
A progress indicator shows each step as Cogliva reads the sources and maps what it finds across the intake fields. Extracted values are offered as proposals for empty fields; anything you have already written stays as you wrote it. Uploaded files are analysed once for this purpose and are not kept.
Review everything before you continue
Treat the result as a first draft, exactly as with prefilling context from a website. Correct anything inaccurate, and add what no document can tell Cogliva — above all the real challenge you want examined. See how Cogliva uses user inputs and what not to enter into the tool before uploading anything sensitive or client-confidential.
How to use this in Cogliva
- Open the “Add context from other sources” panel in the diagnostic intake.
- Add any extra public links, and upload up to four text-based documents.
- Run the analysis and wait for the progress indicator to finish.
- Review each proposed value, correct it where needed, then complete the challenge yourself.
